Hello!
I'm Sophie Weaver, a recent graduate from Indiana University with a BS in Sport Marketing and Management. I have various experiences as a Social and Digital Intern.
My Story
I was born and raised in the wonderful Cincinnati, Ohio. My family are integral and influential parts of my life who has always shown their support. I was a Spartan at Turpin High School; during my time there I was a four-year varsity track and field athlete. I take a great pride from where I am and am a Cincinnati sports fan through and through.

Indiana University was my dream school ever since I was a little girl. My dad is an alumnus of IU, so my family made frequent visits to Bloomington for football, basketball games, the Little 500, or just to admire the beautiful campus. I'm very proud and grateful to be a Hoosier.

I became a Social and Digital Media Intern first semester of my second year of school. Lynnea Phillips was a guest speaker in one of my courses, and after listening to her talk about her job within the Cuban Center I was intrigued and approached her after class to find out more. One thing led to another, and I was a part of the team for two years. I was grateful for the opportunity and absolutely loved being creative with a variety of IU's athletic teams social platforms.

I am looking for work, so please contact me if you have any questions, want to talk about sports, or just to say hello! Check out my Gondola profile for a more thorough overview of the work I have published.
